Our Little Angel

Jordan went home to heaven this evening. It was quicker than we anticipated but she was very comfortable, cuddling between Craig and me. Our hearts are broken but we are grateful for the time we had with her and are honored to be her parents.

Our thoughts & prayers are with your entire family. We have prayed right along with you every day. Your post were so amazing and was done with such courage every detail, to let us know exactly what this lil warrior has been going through. Jordan has touched so many even though we did not know HER, but her Grand parents and the dad (from the benefit). You may feel alone right not but you are not!!! God Bless you both for all that you endured for your little angel.AND that she is an ANGEL

I send you my deepest sympathy and will keep praying for your family. May comforting thoughts be with you at this difficult time. I pray that memories of Jordan will comfort you and God will bring you peace. What an amazing little girl. She is in heaven. May God be with you until you see her again and are reunited together as a family. Please let me know if there is any help that I can provide.

Dear Craig and Kristen:

My thoughts and prayers are with your family and you! I was so saddened to learn this morning of Jordan's death. Suzette and Joe are members of my church (St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Fort Washington), where we have kept Jordan and your family and you in our prayers for many months. Jordan was so fortunate to have your love and support throughout her much too short life. I sense that you, too, were equally blessed by her love and resilient spirit. If I can be of any support to your family and you at this time or in the future, it would be an privilege to do so. I can be reached at any time at 267-664-3097. In the meantime, please know that we and many others will be holding your family and you in our daily prayers.

Faithfully,
Marek Zabriskie -- rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church

Dear Craig and Kristen, I am so sorry for your loss. In sharing Jordan's story with us, we have followed you both over the past year and I think you are the models of a parent's love. I have great admiration for your strength and bravery and I hope that in this difficult time you can take some comfort and remember that you are not alone in your grief and that many of us who have followed your family's struggle will continue to pray for you. God bless you...

Craig and Kristen,
We all send you our deepest sympathies. I do not know for certain what to say to you two....but I do want to say some words. This has been a long, long journey. We want you to know how proud we are of you. You left no stone unturned in trying to save your precious Angel. You both gave everything for her. I did not know Jordan, but I did know her through Kristen's blog posts. I find comfort in knowing from those posts and the pictures attached that although she went thru so much in her short life and her struggle for life.....she did it knowing that she was loved, and loving in return. I hope in the days ahead you both can find some comfort there. And last guys I want to say this.....in life, so many times we search for other people that we can look up to, mimmick and aspire to when our own personal times are tough, and the road seems to hard to tread. Generally, it's younger people looking up for older and we call these people "hero's". Well, we have found our little hero, and she is Angel Jordan. She is brave, and strong and full of love. She'll be my hero today, tomorrow and every day that I need a hero! God Bless you, and know that we love you with all our hearts. Mike,Noni,Megan,Dylan

It is so easy to forget that our children are gifts from God just on loan to enrich our lives. We never know when God will call them back home. Jordan was precious and cherished. She enriched so many lives and now to God she returns. This little angel who brought people into your lives you would never have dreamed of...and she will continue to do that. Thank you for your blog and pictures. It was so generous of you to share Jordan with all of us and your wonderful family as well. I am sure that if there is a dishwasher in heaven, she is sitting on the door! that is the way I like to remember her. God Bless you and keep you....Hugs!!

You have been given a great and wonderful gift... the gift of Jordan, to be her parents!!!... of friends and of LOVE. Jordan is still with you - nestled into your loving hearts and minds, closer and happier than ever before. Free from pain and suffering. She runs, laughs and plays with all of Heaven and she waits with our Lord Jesus with open arms to greet you into Paradise.

"There is a light in this world, a healing spirit
more powerful than any darkness we may encounter.
We sometime lose sight of this force
when there is suffering, and too much pain.
Then suddenly,
the spirit will emerge
through the lives of ordinary people who hear a call
and answer in extraordinary ways."
*Mother Teresa

My deepest sympathy and prayers for your loss. I pray for you as I pray for Jordan. I wish there was more that I could do, but prayer is powerful and prayers are what is needed and prayers you will get!
God Bless you both and may the Lord Jesus and our Blessed Mother Mary comfort you and strengthen you till you are together again as a family in Paradise

I am so sad to hear this...Jordan was an angel on earth and now an angel in heaven....she will always be with you as your own special angel!!
You two were such wonderful parents and were so strong through this...I know it has to make you feel better knowing that she is not hurting anymore and does not have to go through anymore chemo and radiation...she is pain free now smiling down at her Mommy and Daddy that she loved so much!!!
I am thinking of you two and your entire family...you have tons of photos and great memories to hopefully help you through this sad time in your lives.
God Bless all of you!!! Patti Kohl

My deepest sympathies, my prayers, and my thoughts are all with you and the rest of your family. Tonight as I sit and watch my child sleep, I think of Jordan and how important it is to cherish the time we have with our loved ones. I think that was part of her purpose here on earth. I pray that you find some comfort in the following weeks.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Heaven has one sweet, beautiful angel. Always know that she will be watching over you all every minute of everyday. Seeing those pictures shows me how happy she was. I did not ever know Jordan but pictures say a thousand words and her Gram talked about her everytime I saw her. She will always be a very loved little girl.

Love,
